Initially a project to be produced in 360 to be shown at the amazing Igloo shared VR space at Wolverhampton University. A huge 9m diameter cylindrical screen - 11,500 pixels wide by 1,200 pixels high. This was a challenge and meant capturing many scenes in 8k using the Insta Pro 2 VR camera. We storyboarded the film and were quite ambitious in terms of creative transitions to really push the experience in 360. The additional challenge then came to adapt this for regular 16x9 ratio... A great project shot across many locations in Wolverhampton.
A terrific piece of work from Sam Davis, from his initial meetings with the Youth Council to the finished video which is now a showcase of our city and being shown at the NBI's Igloo. Was great working with you on this! We’re really happy with the way this has turned out Sam. Thanks as always for your expertise, professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond to get a great shot 👍🏼 And who says you shouldn’t work with children - the youth council did a great job too!
